Updating active x

Users whose accounts are configured to have fewer user rights on the system could be less impacted than users who operate with administrative user rights.

This update also includes kill bits for four third-party Active X controls.

When I get back I will have another look at Thinapp of IE11.

I found the Sx S stuff in the reg and took that out, but still didn't work.

Before starting your update process, enable Active X control notification if not already done so.

Ensure that the Active X notification in the next page is digitally signed by Cyber Link before proceeding.

The browser from where the connection is established will therefore have the Active X controls enabled.

Cheers Phil The Active X component I was trying to have update was installing into C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files.
